About SOMO

SOMO Business Solutions LLC is a Bay Area-based business support company that provides field representation, project coordination, estimating, contractor network access, and operational support for contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, property managers, real estate agents, investors, and out-of-state companies that need a reliable local presence in the Bay Area.

SOMO is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and serves the entire region including San Francisco, Oakland and the East Bay, San Jose and the South Bay, the Peninsula, the North Bay (Marin, Sonoma), and the Tri-Valley area (Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin).

Simply reach out through our contact page or email us at somobs2026@gmail.com. Tell us a bit about your project or what you need and we will follow up within one business day to discuss how we can help.

SOMO primarily works with businesses — contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, property managers, real estate agents, investors, and companies looking to expand into the Bay Area. However, if you have a specific project need, we are happy to discuss it.

Our team built SOMO from real hands-on trade experience — starting as handymen and growing through years of field work across multiple trades. We understand the work from the inside out. Our contractor and trade network was built through years of working side by side with the best people in the industry, not assembled from a directory. That real-world knowledge shapes everything we do.

Yes. Through our Field Representation and Local Partner Program services, SOMO can attend meetings, conduct site visits, and represent your business professionally in the Bay Area on your behalf. We act as your local face — giving your clients the responsive, in-person service they expect.

Absolutely. Our Estimating & Proposal Services are designed specifically for contractors, remodelers, and service providers. We help with site visits, scope of work development, cost estimation, proposal preparation, and even customer follow-up. We understand the trade, so our proposals reflect real-world accuracy.

SOMO is primarily a business support and coordination company — we don't perform the physical trade work ourselves. However, through our Contractor & Skilled Labor Network, we can connect you with qualified, vetted tradespeople across many disciplines including carpentry, tile, flooring, painting, drywall, and more.

Yes — that's exactly what our Bay Area Market Expansion service is designed for. We help companies based outside the Bay Area establish a local presence, meet with potential customers, qualify leads, research the market, and source local vendors and subcontractors. You can test and grow in the Bay Area without opening a local office.

The Local Partner Program is for companies that need ongoing Bay Area representation rather than a one-time service. Think of it as having a dedicated local team without the cost of opening an office. We handle field visits, customer meetings, site documentation, contractor coordination, and anything else that requires boots on the ground — as often or as little as you need.

Working With Us
Working With SOMO

We respond to all inquiries within one business day. For urgent field tasks or site visits, we work to accommodate your timeline as quickly as possible. Bay Area clients benefit from our local presence — we can often be on-site same day or next day.

Our pricing depends on the type and scope of service. Some services are project-based (like a single site visit or proposal), while others are engagement-based for ongoing support. We discuss pricing openly during our initial conversation and provide a clear quote before any work begins.

Absolutely. You don't need to commit to an ongoing arrangement. We work with clients on a single-project or single-visit basis all the time. Many clients start with one job and continue working with us from there — but there's no obligation.

Yes. We understand that field work and business representation often involves sensitive client and project information. We are happy to sign NDAs or confidentiality agreements as required by our clients.

  • A description of what you need (site visit, proposal, coordination, etc.)
  • The location and any relevant addresses or project details
  • Your timeline and any deadlines
  • Any specific requirements, standards, or formats you need us to follow

Field Work
Site Visits & Measurements

A standard site visit includes on-site inspection and documentation, photographs and/or video of relevant conditions, measurements as required, a written report summarizing findings, and any specific checks or verifications requested by the client. Reports are delivered digitally, typically within 24 hours of the visit.

We take measurements seriously — a wrong number can derail an entire project. We use professional tools, take multiple reference measurements where appropriate, and cross-check our work before submitting any report. If something doesn't add up, we flag it immediately rather than guessing.

Yes. This is one of the most common ways clients use SOMO. We represent you professionally on-site, document everything thoroughly, and report back so you have everything you need without having to be there.

  • Residential properties (single family, multi-unit, condos)
  • Commercial properties (retail, office, light industrial)
  • New construction and renovation sites
  • Properties being prepared for sale or lease
  • Sites being assessed for product installation (cabinets, windows, pergolas, flooring, etc.)
